Meet Christian Johnson
Sales & Catering Manager
Christian Johnson has an eclectic background that eventually led him to try the restaurant industry's challenging and fast paced environment. The son of a military family, Christian was born in Japan, but spent his childhood growing up in North County San Diego. He studied Journalism in college and spent almost two years writing for various small publications. Christian dabbled in the shipping industry before switching gears at Heaven Sent Desserts, where his high school friend and owner of Heaven Sent Desserts, Lachlan Oliver, offered him a management position.
"I enjoyed shipping and found it endlessly challenging, but I really enjoy the change in my working environment here at Heaven Sent Deserts," Christian comments. After spending a significant amount of time in the restaurant as a customer, Christian felt that his past experience with small and privately owned businesses on the verge of growth would be valuable and well received in this very young business venture.
Christian adds, "I understand that clear and thoughtful communication is key to getting people to see things the way you do. I see it at work everyday. I believe in Heaven Sent Desserts and its products and to prove that, I back this company with the most valuable possession I have, my name."
